Oscan Inscription

Oscan votive inscription from Pompeii from the 2nd Century B.C.E. (from: Zvetaieff, Sylloge Inscript. Oscarum, 1888, Plate XI) as shown in the book Lettering by Hermann Degering. The complete Oscan alphabet, including archaic glyphs, are included in Minotaur, both left-facing and right-facing. They can be accessed in OpenType by using stylistic sets 2 and 3 respectively. Minotaur also supports modern Greek and most languages that use the Cyrillic alphabet, both in ancient and modern styles. There are also many discretionary ligatures as well as several alternate letterforms available to add variety and versatility to your typography.
